Powerful Joey Pearson (Age: 12, Encinitas, California -U.S., ) 12-year-old Joey Pearson was born to sing. As soon as he could talk he was belting out tunes, and he publicly sang for the first time at age 8 where he received two standing ovations. Originally from Georgia, Joey moved with his family to California to pursue a career in music, and is now getting his feet wet in the acting industry. Joey's magic has wowed crowds everywhere since his first performance, and his fame is growing.
 Joey made it to the Semi-Finals on Star Search in May of 2003. Competing against Alex Williams and winning for the opportunity to get to the Semi-Finals where he sang with Courtney Zahn and Jeannie Marie Bocchicchio. His song choices were "Livin' For the City" by Stevie Wonder and "Against All Odds" by Phil Collins.
Naomi Judd said to Joey: "We have the most talented kids in America right here. You have a supple voice that just drips with emotion. I could listen to you all day - FIVE STARS!"
And then Donny Osmond responded: "Naomi, thank you for the compliment that Joey would be related to me. You've got one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard - FIVE STARS!"
  This up-and-coming star now has fans in 18 countries, a fan club, and a street team. He has also been on Jenny Jones' Christmas Special, performed at Universal Studios, the Del Mar Fair in San Diego, won several awards such as the Ed McMahon's Next Big Star internet contest, the Billyheads Rising Star Award, the KidsTalk Young Achievers Award, and his song ranked #1 out of 3600 young singers on another kids showcase website for eight months running, and won the honor of having his song included on their compilation CD. Joey now has his own CD out, "Something To Say," written, produced and recorded by his father, Tony Pearson. Coming up soon, Joey will release a new Christmas CD.
