Amazing Grace (Age: 15, Chennai, , India) Born in Chennai, India, Grace is in love with the creative things in life. She started writing poetry when she was 7-years-old. She has always had a love for music and so enjoyed her singing lessons at school. When Grace entered high school, she was not given any chance to participate in singing competitions. It was then that she realized how much more she wanted to sing. Grace started thinking about pursuing a career in pop music. It was something she had to give a lot of thought as she is from India. Very few Indians have reached star status and many of those are not native Indians. Grace has been recording her voice and working on her vocals for about three years now. It was only recently that Grace made an mp3 demo recording after her dad helped her with the computer technology. Grace is determined to make it in the music business. Time is slowly moving on but not her will to succeed. Grace sees so many rules out there especially in India- that has made her see things differently. Now she has turned into something of a rebel and its not something she takes all that much pride in either. She just believes in fighting for herself. Grace thrives on poetry and music. There's truth, beauty, freedom and love (as in Moulin Rouge) in these two magical yet real strands of life. Truth, because it brings you to reality; beauty in the way it flows; freedom in the expression; and love because it is from the heart. Graces motto is: A choice you make cannot be labeled right or wrong. A choice made without worrying about what others make of it, or a choice made without influence is an icon of individualism. Each person is different and unique; we cannot bring that uniqueness out and show it to the world if we follow a certain path, which a majority of the people think best. Say and do what you love to; let it lead the way, even if it raises controversy. Dare to be yourself. Graces goal is to be an international pop/rock star. She wants to one day tell the world, as impossible as things may seem, you will find yourself. Just play your part, follow your dreams, and go with your heart.
