SNOW SKIING CENTER
Takin' it to the Slopes (Age: 16, Boise, ID) Kim and Janis are members of Hostelling International (American Youth Hostels) and took advantage of traveling around the western United States very inexpensively. In the winter of 2001 Kim and Janis visited Breckenridge, Colorado and did a fair amount of skiing. Alpine skiers enjoy over 2,043 acres of groomed trails around Breckenridge and with the prices of the Hostel at about $22-35 depending on the season they were able to save their money for lift tickets. Kim and Janis also ventured over to Idaho Springs, Colorado and stayed at the Hostel for $20 and a free breakfast. This lodge is a historic building in an old Colorado mining town, located near rafting, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, mining tours, and fishing activities. Kim and Janis really enjoy traveling and plan to pick a new location every year. Their thinking of Europe when they finish high school.
