Artwork Of The Week

This I made from a picture. But I changed the dimensions of the face, creating a whole new person. I also changed the background. The only thing left the same is the hair.

POETRY OF THE WEEK

" The Race "

BY: Gabrielle Pilot
Age: 14

I'm running this race
I got only so many miles til I'm done
And the rest of my life til I've won
But there is no one around me
So what is this race I'm running?
Who am I competing against?
I'm running the race of black and white
Yin and Yang
Love and hate
Good and evil
God and Satan
Heaven and Hell
Life and death
And who am I competing against?
Only the whole world.

TALENT OF THE WEEK

Is There A DJ in Da House?

Talent Of The Week (Age: 17, Rancho Cucamonga, California -U.S., ) Tyler Adamson is a 17-year-old DJ that rocks Da House. He has been DJing since he was 11-years-old. Back then he saw DJ Skribble on MTV and he was hooked. Tyler decided to get into Spinning. He has saved and bought his first pair of turntables and ever since then he has taught himself everything he knows. Tyler (AKA TheWhiteDre) Spun at all his Junior High dances and throughout high school so far. He has been a clutch DJ for all the parties and occasions that needed music. He is currently a Junior in high school and is hopeful that he will be more than just a party DJ someday.

Tyler was featured in 'Mixer Magazine' about a year and a half ago in which the title read "and a young child will lead them." He has had many opportunities for radio and club play but because he is not yet 18 he has had to let them go.

Throughout the years Tyler has persuaded some of his friends to try out Dj'in. "I do it because the DJ controls the entire mood of whatever event is doing. I love getting out there and just making people dance or just vibe to the music. I can mix any kind of music creatively and I can also scratch very well. I have loved music from since I can remember and I will continue to love spinning. I also like producing music and new beats which is something I would also like to do as a DJ," Tyler told us.
