How To Edit Your KidKountry.com Story Page:
The only access (for security and a host of other reasons) to each member's story page is through the KidKountry Story Page Editor. ( http://www.kidkountry.com/member/mlogin.php )

IMPORTANTYou will need to know your Story Page ID#. An example is: WZ02090850. You can find this by clicking on your story page and looking at the web address (URL) at the top of your browser. This address will be something like: http://www.kidkountry.com/usa/kidtalent.php?id=WZ02090850

Once you have entered logged in and entered your story page ID# you will see a representation of your current KidKountry Story page.

Make sure this is YOUR story page! If it is, click on the I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY PAGE button.

You now are shown the contents of your story page along with your age, email address, city, state, and country on the left hand pane. The information is also repeated in a pane on the right side of the screen.

If there is any information that needs to be changed or modified you can do that in the right hand side pane.

If you want to add different picture files or audio files you can click on the Click here to upload new .JPG/.GIF photo file: text link under each section of your story.

If you do upload new files, you will be directed to COPY the URL location of where these new files are stored on the KidKountry.com server. You may also choose to POINT to some other Internet Web site that has a picture or audio file you want to use.

Once all this information is as you want click on the UPDATE STORY button.

The KidKountry story page editor is broken up into five (5) sections. It will display each of the pictures you have uploaded. It will also show a sound icon for each audio file you have uploaded.

Start with section 1 and choose ONE (1) picture you want for this first part of your story page text. You then select the dimensions of this picture. In order for the picture to appear clearly you need to tell the page the height and width of the picture. You can also choose where you want that picture to be placed, either on the left side of the page or the right side of the page.

Next you can select which AUDIO file you want to go with this section of text.

You then repeat this process for each of the five sections of your story page. If you don't have any information in a section that is perfectly ok. But the more information you put about yourself the more interesting you are to other visitors of KidKountry.com and to talent agents and casting directors. You do not need to put something into each text block.

Once you have selected a picture for each section, any audio files, and the text is the way you want it in each of the sections then click the UPDATE STORY button at the bottom of the page. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK!

Once your page is displayed you are done! Click on the Click here to view page: text link to go to the live version of your story page. If you don't like the way it came out you can login into your member's area and begin the process again. You may do this as many times as you want to get your page exactly the way you want it.
