Why Purchase This Book...

This 242-page book has been designed to be informative and to allow practical application of its concepts. The material is suited for most ages to comprehend. Although directed at the parent to help with their child's entertainment industry desires, kids and teens can learn how to "go for it" themselves and see what it will take to succeed. It is, however, strongly recommended that both the parent and young talent read this manual together.

We use the term 'KID' to mean kid, teen, or anyone under the age of 18. We are very proud of the kids that we work with and think highly of the term kid. We would prefer to write is as "Kid" in all references to show this respect, but our editor advised against it.

This book is divided into four topics. It is designed to focus on a particular area of the entertainment industry that, collectively, will help you in understanding the overall entertainment business as a whole. It is also meant as a reference guide for when a particular subject comes up and you want to better understand its implications.

This book not only serves as a foundation for knowledge but also as a way to apply that knowledge. This, in most instances, will require the intervention of an adult to gain the maximum benefits from this text. It was also written with both the young and mature reader in mind.
