KidKountry Member Cole Taschman Wins Garfield Interview
When Cole heard that AOL was giving away a chance to interview the stars of the movie "Garfield"
at the movie's Los Angeles premiere, he grabbed a video camera and made his own audition tape.
He submitted his tape to AOL and became one of five finalist nationwide for the chance to be the
"On The Spot Interviewer" of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Breckin Meyer, and Garfield creator Jim Davis.
The person with the most online votes for best submitted audition tape would become the "Red Carpet"
interviewer. This is when KidKountry members from around the world came to Cole's aide.
KidKountry.com sent out an email to all of it's members asking them to support Cole and go vote
for his submission tape. And you guessed it, Cole won!
Cole went to Los Angeles and interviewed the stars and became a celebrity himself in the process.

"It's nice that people are out there who help Kids eventually reach their dreams. Thanks to everyone for taking
the time to help us and vote for me," Cole told us recently. "We are still in shock. I still can't believe I got
to walk the ORANGE carpet," he said.
Cole's mother, Sherry, told us, "We now think Cole's 15 minutes of fame is going on and on and on! Yesterday,
we took Cole to see the Garfield movie (again) at our local theater and some kids actually recognized
him from the TV news (WPBG West Palm) the evening before! 'Does it get any better than this?' Cole asked us.
You guys [KidKountry members] are the best for helping us get votes!"
Way to go, Cole!
